The modern-meets-deco interior of a 100-year-old heritage building, Macalister Mansion now features a colourful marble finish for its eight revitalised rooms. Each claiming a bespoke design that sets to be awe-inspiring. Named after Colonel Norman Macalister, who governed the area 200 years ago, you’ll find artwork that winks at Penang’s colonial past plus contemporary sculptures depicting the hotel’s namesake.
